Senior Marketing Manager




Manage the Marketing aspect of the Food Service System Solutions Business Unit, covering Industrial Bakery & Pastry Chains as well as Quick Served Restaurant & Fast Food Chains. World coverage.

Main activities are described in attached Job Description.

The Senior Marketing Manager will report to two  Directors of Strategies: of Industrial Bakery & Pastry / Coffee Café Chains, on the one side, and of Quick Served Restaurants & Fast Food Chains on the other side.

He will be in direct contact with Savencia’s marketing and sales organizations located in the various regions of the world. (EU, South East Asia, Middle East / Africa, North & South America.)

Mains activities


Contribute to building GFSS budget and LRP. Collect & share external views and market insights;
Help QSR + B&P Strategy Directors to define and recommend development strategies for Global & strong Regional Key Accounts;

Market intelligence / Insights, thought leadership:

Ensure a worldwide continuous and ad-hoc market watch on consumption, prospects, clients, competitors, regulations; coordinate with other categories (especially FS Catalogue), markets and regions.
Gather & evaluate relevant market and competitors’ information to review market position and determine threats, opportunities & trends (with e.g. Technomic, Datassential, NPD…)

Content management:

Develop / lead content management process for FSS;
Promote, populate, maintain and animate GFSS digital Information repository. Ensure proper feed-in from the regions & categories.
Develop and maintain website, and other digital marcom tools

Operational Marketing / Activation:

Cooperate with the regional marketing departments around the world, esp. with the marketing manager of Food Service Catalogue;
Lead the organization of GFSS participation to trade shows, customers’ conventions and road-shows / ideation sessions (GFSS-led or One-Savencia events).

  • Graduate (business or engineering + MBA). Fluent in English (French and additional foreign language is a plus)
  • Solid (5+ years) experience in either B2B food manufacturing oriented marketing or in a QSR/BP chain.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of technical aspects of B/P & QSR activities.
  • Strong self-propulsing personality.
  • International experience.
